Administrative/Marketing Assistant

We are currently seeking an Administrative/Marketing Assistant to support our expanding virtual counselling and psychotherapy practice. If you are looking for an exciting work-from-home role that has the potential for growth and innovation as you grow with the company, we want to hear from you!

We are a virtual counselling practice serving a diverse group of clients from across Ontario. We are adding new clients and clinicians all the time and we need your help to continue to grow! QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in an office administration/marketing field or 2+ years of equivalent work experience is required

  • Keen interest in the field of mental health and counselling

  • Proven ability to support business growth through various marketing channels – social media, google ads, blogging, etc.

  • Up to date with social media trends and digital marketing campaigns

  • Experience with marketing and illustration programs (such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently and independently

  • Collaborative with an ability to work within a team

  • Experience working with practice management software programs considered an asset

  • Familiarity with Squarespace and website design is a strong asset

  • This role requires the use of a personal computer and smartphone

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration:

  • Responding empathetically to client inquiries/requests by phone and email

  • Maintaining practice management software system

  • Orienting new staff to practice management system

  • Compiling / managing client email lists

  • Connecting clients with therapists, communicating warmly and efficiently throughout the process

Marketing:

  • Developing and implementing a new and improved social media strategy

  • Creating and scheduling social media posts

  • Managing day-to-day website edits (Squarespace)

  • Optimizing website SEO

  • Content creation (newsletters, blogs, website copy)

  • Enhancing and implementing client engagement strategies

This is a 20-hour per week role with the possibility of growth in the future. There is some flexibility with specific hours but daytime availability Monday through Friday is required.
