Hailey Ingram

Registered Psychotherapist
(not currently accepting new clients)

I am inspired by the incredible strength demonstrated by people who reach out for support —especially when they are feeling burnt out, stretched too thin, or like they can barely keep themselves afloat.

I aim to create a warm and welcoming space for clients to pause, set down all of life’s demands and emotions they've been juggling, and begin to make sense of it all. I strive to meet clients where they’re at, walking alongside them through their journey.

Within therapy, I support and empower clients to understand themselves and their values in a deeper and more honest way. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their needs and increase their ability to set healthy boundaries in their relationship with themselves and with others. My aim is to assist clients in increasing their sense of balance and expanding their capacity for self-compassion and self-care. I aim to create a safe space in which clients feel seen, heard, and valued, working from a client-centred, feminist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed perspective..

I support and empower clients to understand themselves and their values in a deeper and more honest way.

Q & A with Hailey

What made you decide to choose your current profession?

" I chose psychotherapy as my profession because it allows me to deeply connect with other humans, walk with them on their journeys, and create a life in which I very fortunately am able to continually be inspired by the stories, lives, and courage of others. "

What do you like most about what you do?

" Being able to witness clients more deeply understand the strength and resiliency that resides within themselves. "

What do you think are the biggest misconceptions about mental health?

" I think the biggest misconception about mental health is that going to therapy means you're weak or that something is wrong with you. I think—no I know—it takes an immense amount of strength to reach out and ask for help, something every person in the world could benefit from doing. "

What is one thing you like about technology and the internet? What is one thing you don’t like?

"  I love the way that technology allows us to connect with people and ideas that we may not have been able to otherwise, but dislike the way that technology can absorb us and pull us out of the current moment. "

What do you want your clients to know about you and what it will be like working with you?

" I want potential clients to know that I think it takes great strength to reach out for help. Within therapy I strive to create a warm and welcoming space in which clients can feel seen, understood, and safe. I am committed to walking alongside clients through their journey, trusting in their autonomy and their ability to know what's best for themselves."

What do you value most in a client?

" The vulnerability and courage a client demonstrates just in showing up and allowing themselves to be seen."

What does ‘integrated health’ mean to you?

" Looking at our whole selves —aiming to nourish our minds, our hearts, our bodies, and our spirits. "
