Louis Periatambee
Registered Psychotherapist
My mission is to help my clients overcome the challenges of their lives to find clarity, balance and happiness. I work with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflict and communication, low self-esteem, emotional processing, LGBTQ2+ concerns, life transitions, and personal growth, among others.
Problems at work, discord at home, relationship troubles, unresolved past events, and countless other challenges can make us feel overwhelmed and hopeless. Whatever your reasons for seeking help, I aim to create a supportive, validating, ‘non-judgy’ space where we can talk through painful issues, understand what is happening and move through them safely.
My style is easygoing, inclusive and goal-orientated. I work primarily with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, integrating aspects of Solutions Focussed Therapy, IFS, Gestalt, Person Centred Therapy and Strength-Based approaches. I have also completed Gottman Levels 1 & 2, which inform my work with couples.
After a career as a television creative, living in different countries and experiencing diverse cultures, I realized that helping others is more fulfilling to me than entertaining them. My life experiences enable me to attune to people from all walks of life, share their journey and help them achieve their goals.
Whatever your hope for change, let’s make it a reality.
