I bring a genuine curiosity to each client to try to better understand their unique story through exploring together. I've been told that people feel heard when speaking to me, and I hope to make you feel listened to and validated. I use a warm, client-centred approach while we explore different topics or events that have impacted you. We will then work together to find a treatment plan that is best suited for your unique circumstances and situations.

Working as a housing stability worker supporting folks experiencing homelessness taught me how impactful having someone listen and understand you can be. This taught me to use a client-centred trauma informed approach with each individual I work with.

Q & A with Nicole

What do you like most about the work that you do?

What I enjoy most about the work I do is seeing someone grow and begin to thrive once they have begun to make a commitment to bettering themselves.

What do you think are the biggest misconceptions about mental health?

The biggest misconception I believe about mental health is that those that suffer with mental illness or are struggling are weak. Carrying the weight of mental illness and getting through the day to day takes an incredible amount of strength. But it doesn’t need to be that hard and with the right supports we can find a plan that will be tailored to you to help you get back to feeling authentically you.

What do you want your clients to know about you and what it will be like working with you?

I come to each session with a warm and encouraging approaching to support you in exploring differing topics that are most impactful to you.
