Guide to Intimacy
Can a focus on intimacy help you warm up your winter?
For those in relationships, taking time to truly consider what intimacy looks like for you and how you can enhance it can be a game-changer for your relationship. For those not in a relationship, the level of intimacy you have with yourself and how you seek out intimacy with others is an essential component of your relationship with yourself and the world around you.
We recognize that talking about intimacy (and more specifically sex) can be difficult. Most of us were never ‘taught’ how to have these conversations and they are rarely modeled in a healthy way. The reality is that in order to have these conversations, we need to be willing to show up with vulnerability, humility and courage. We have to be willing to get awkward, mess up sometimes, and learn from what isn’t working.
“ Feeling safe in someone's energy is a different kind of intimacy. That feeling of peace and protection is really underrated. ”
- Vanessa Klas
