Affordable Therapy

Your first session is FREE! After that, low-cost therapy rates are $30-$85 per session.

At everwell we believe that affordable therapy, mental health resources, support and services should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer a ‘Therapist Intern’ program where Master’s Degree students in Counselling Psychology offer low-cost therapy as part of their required training before becoming independent Registered Psychotherapists. This service is open to anyone looking for online counselling within Ontario. Currently we are offering affordable individual and couples counselling through this program.

What is a Therapist Intern?

A Therapist Intern is a Masters’ level practicum student who has completed the foundation of their education in Counselling Psychology and is now able to engage in direct client counselling. These students are required to provide counselling services under the supervision of a Registered Psychotherapist to complete their training before becoming independently accredited.

Therapist Interns bring an abundance of knowledge and a fresh perspective on the latest effective counselling methods.

What are the benefits of working with a Therapist Intern?

Affordability: Gain access to quality counselling services at rates far lower than regular therapy rates.

2-for-1: Have assurance in knowing that both your Therapist Intern and their experienced supervisor will collaborate to help you overcome your presenting struggles.

Mutually Beneficial: Therapist Interns are able to offer these affordable and accessible services and you - as the client -are contributing to the growth and the educational development of young professionals in your own community.
